Reponsive mobile friendly WHO site
|
I did some more work over Christmas and have hacked together a mobile friendly version of the .co.uk site.
It's responsive so should scale up to what ever size device you are using like most websites these days. Works well on my iPhone but haven't got hundreds of devices to test it on.
As most of you appear to use your phones to access the site have a go using this url and tell me if its better:
https://mobile.westhamonline.co.uk
If it doesn't work try wiping your knob on it before complaining in the comments.

Well done.
I wonder could you also do some work so that when you go back into a thread you've posted on, it drops you back to your comment so you can catch up what's gone after rather than scrolling through whole thread. Just an idea.

I've got an android (Samsung galaxy) Only issue is the text boxes are ever so slightly too wide for the screen. Nothing a quick pinch on the screen doesn't solve.

Of course I can afford Apple. I rather choose not to be a sheep and follow the herd, hence I saw the light and ditched Apple years ago.

Just tried it on Android using an online tool. Can see the problems a few people mentioned. Will tweak them over the next few days.

I think Kaiser is referring to the list of posts when you click Forum.
I prefer the narrow version as you don’t have to keep scrolling sideways

So much better - Well done Wills.
I still have to pinch and zoom a bit, but I’d put that down to my poor eyesight !
